Be honest - how many times have you opened your phone to scroll on social media? Whether you’re on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or one of the major platforms, one thing is true: It’s 2022, and social media still reigns supreme.
But with the growth of social media comes changing trends, features, and ways to interact with your customers. The truth is that marketing is constantly evolving, so whether you're a big business or a mom-and-pop shop, it can be hard to keep up.
In this blog, we’ll cover five quick (and easy) tips for social media marketing that you can implement today in your business.
Consistency is Key
When posting on social media, you should have a schedule for what you post. Are you going to share three stories a week on Instagram? How often do you post on Facebook? Having a schedule allows you to have consistency in your schedule.
The critical thing to remember is to stick to a schedule you can keep. And always be realistic - don’t commit to posting every day if you don’t have the time for it.
Follow the Right Trends
We’re all about following trends, but the key is making sure you follow ones that apply to your business. TikTok is a prime example of brands utilizing trends to boost their reach and audience engagement.
When deciding which trends to focus on, make sure to work them into your strategy. And keep in mind that this applies to music and content. Is a sound on TikTok or Instagram Reels the perfect soundtrack for a new product or service? Can you use a dance trend to draw attention to your business? Be thoughtful and be creative!
Find Your Voice
Brand voice is your business's unique characteristics and personality that you communicate to your audience. Your voice sets the tone for how your business is perceived and the standard of your customer’s expectations.
And that’s why having a brand voice is so important! It’s like you’re having a conversation with your audience rather than talking at them.
To determine your voice, ask yourself - what’s your why? You can also choose if you use exclamation points, slang, or emojis. Are you witty and irreverent? Maybe you’re conserved and practical. The important thing is to remember who you are and how that translates to what your audience wants to hear.
It’s All About Strategy
Don’t just start posting on social media, put a plan in place! A marketing plan and strategy sets your business up for success and makes all the difference.
Start by defining your business with your mission, vision, and core values. Note the key stakeholders when implementing your strategy. Who will be responsible for creating content? How about posting?
After that, move on to defining your audience. What pain point does your product or service solve? Who’s buying your product or service? And remember - you don’t have to stick to one audience, but you do need to have a clear vision of who’s buying your product.
Now that you’ve determined your audience, it’s time to pick your platforms. Do a quick search of what type of person prefers which platform. Targeting Gen Z? TikTok is for you! But if you’re reaching out to an older generation, you may want to stick to Facebook.
And last but not least, track your efforts! If you aren’t tracking the success of your strategies, all you’ve done is for nothing. Make sure to set key performance indicators into place and check up on your progress month to month.

Be Creative with Content
We’re big fans of the Big Rock Content Method at Iron City Social. It’s a method that’s sort of like an upside-down pyramid for content creation meant to guide you through breaking up larger pieces of content and reusing them.
Let’s say you’ve written a very meaty blog like this one you’re reading right now, for example. You could break up this blog into a video series with a separate video for each section. Maybe you also reuse the content blocks for carousel graphics on Instagram or even do a short and sweet TikTok series using snippets from this blog.
Do you see what we’re getting at here? It’s about working smarter, not harder, to create content that your audience will love.

It’s a pity that I didn’t come across this article earlier, because when I just started blogging about the casino https://dork-unit-slot.com/dork-unit-at-bc-game and slots, I didn’t have enough knowledge and had to learn based on my mistakes, I think this will help many people at the beginning, but will there be any advice for medium-sized businesses?
Try starting your own blog on Twitter, now this platform is developing especially quickly and it shows great promise for small business owners. And to make your video look attractive, simply edit it. At the beginning of my blogging career, I learned how to compress a video for twitter and thanks to this, my videos were smaller in size, but did not lose quality.
